The fees went up again and caught my tightly wound credit card by surprise. Just like everything else these days i/e $4.50 for a pound of butter, yet more than a million gallons of price supported milk is dumped in Wisconsin every year, and the producers have to pay the disposers to do it. Wonder what's wrong with our system? Free enterprise works great, until it becomes government enterprise and has the opposite effect, i/e I made this and there's a demand for it, but now I have to pay somebody to get rid of it because my government controls my access to a free market by controlling my sale prices, so falsely created shortages can inflate prices of related products and support union sewerage workers with more work. I hate April.

I was conflicted before over what to pick; Linux Mint or Linux Lite. I have used both prior my installation but Lite has won my heart. I don't know, Mint is fine, but perhaps Lite's Help Manual and just better ease of use won me over. What do you guys think of LM?

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

Hello there, I am a new user of Linux Lite 6.6. I'm a high school and a former Windows user for over 10 years. I'm not inherently new to Linux since I have already livebooted multiple distros. Needless to say, Linux Lite is the only distribution that has been compelling on my part.

I booted to the Linux side since I have an immense amount of hatred towards Microsoft since the Windows 8 release in 2012. Windows 10 has also performed disastrously on my Latitude 5300 (i3). Fortunately, Linux Lite brought out the best of the decent notebook.

I plan to assist new users hereafter for a more seamless transition. I also plan to work on a transition guide on my upcoming summer vacation. I greatly appreciate everyone's effort on making LL a wonderful distro, cheers!

I am now running LL 5.8.  I have 2 partition, 1 is mounted at / and the 2nd is mounted at /home.  could I install the newest release and just install the / portion or would that create many problems?  thanks
