Hello,
I have decided using Linux and wanted to give Linux Lite a try, so I downloaded the ISO, flashed it using Etcher and everything was alright until I booted the USB, I choosed Start Linux Lite and waited a few minutes until it booted up, the screen was blurry and weird, I went to settings then Display and found out I had only 3 resokutions to choose from 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768, my monitor's resolution is 1366x768, is there any solution for that ?
My GPU is ATi Radeon HD 4650

Hi. My wallpaper seems to be stuck to one pic on the desktop. It won't allow me change it to anything else. Any suggestion on how to resolve this is appreciated.
I managed to resolve this issue by doing a system restore point.

| Alt-Gr+~+n does not work |

Hello,I just upgraded from LL 3.4 to LL 4.2. Unfortunatelly I can't write the Spanish character ñ
I am using English Language setting and a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 400, German Keyword
Before upgrade I could use key combination Alg Gr+~ and then n to enter that character. Now this is not more working. It looks like the AlgGr does not work in that particular case, because the two keys combination (AltGr+q=@ or AltGr+e=€) works perfectly.
A combination with AltGt+0164 does not work as well.
Any help please?
Greetings

Après de grosses lenteurs au démarrage (plus de 2 minutes) j'ai fait les modifications suivantes
Dans un terminal:
sudo apt purge virtualbox*
sudo systemctl stop vboxadd.service
sudo systemctl stop vboxadd-service.service
sudo systemctl disable vboxadd.service
sudo systemctl disable vboxadd-service.service
Puis dans Menu, Settings, Session and Startup, Application Autostart. désélectionné vboxclient.
J'avais aussi une erreur:
[drm:drm_atomic_helper_commit_cleanup_done [drm_kms_helper]] *ERROR* [CRTC:26:pipe A] flip_done timed out
Dans ce cas dans un terminal:
sudo vi /etc/default/grub
ajouter le parametre: video=SVIDEO-1:d,comme ceci: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash video=SVIDEO-1:d"
sudo update-grub
sudo reboot
Pour afficher le temps de démarrage utiliser la commande:
systemd-analyze time
Dans mon cas je suis passé de 2 minutes à 13s
Startup finished in 7.106s (kernel) + 6.153s (userspace) = 13.260s
graphical.target reached after 6.120s in userspace

Hi
So i bought myself a Ryzen 3 1300x on sale to replace my A6-9500 and now i can't boot from my linux drive but everything works just fine i booted my windows 10 drive and it works. Windows sees all my ext4 drives (of course i can't use them cuz windoz doesn't like ext4). When i force it in bios to boot from my linux ssd all i see is blinking _
Do i have to reinstall my linux or is there something i can do about it?
