| Problems with Openshot? |

OK, I decided to post this because couldn't find any mention about it elsewhere in the forums.
Does anybody have sound-stuttering problems when editing in Openshot?
I was about to create a video consisting of a sound track and ten or eleven photos.
As soon as I try to preview it, the sound starts stuttering -BADLY-, if I go and run htop I notice that the CPU usage is around 204% (??), cheech!, I even have problem to close the application.
The CPU-hogging issue occurs only when there is a soundtrack., it doesn't occur with photos only.
Oh, and the visual appearance of the software GUI is totally messed-up. I blamed it on the version that installs from LiteSoftware, so I went directly to the Openshot web, and downloaded both the Appimage (same issues) and also installed from the PPA (same issues).
I tried to install an older version (2.2.x) and -although the GUI looks fine-, the suttering problem is still there.
I'm desperate, as none of the alternative software I could find fills my expectations. I'm this far from going back and reinstall a backup image that I have of my old LL 3.8 installation (oh, those happy times!).
All the pertinent current info can be seen on my profile (left-hand side of your screen).
Thank you in advance.

I am pretty new to linux but in the last 3 months have probaly installed almost all of them in form or another. I started with this one and the curiousity got the best of me and I moved on but here I am like I said about 3 months later back on the beta version of Linux lite. This is my first xfce desktop. I have been using all the different kde's but I dont have good wifi and there are 3 families sharing the wifi here where I live and there is only one 5ghz channel and low and behold that I want first thing I noticed on this distro is I can lock to the very channel I need. If anyone is listening this is a miracle because absolutely none of the other distro's have that abiltity unless you know more than I do about system files and so on and so forth. In windows I would cut all the power saving features off on intel 8260 driver and tell it to prefer 5ghz but its not that easy in linux. I have never had anyone teach me any computer skills but I pretty much mastered windows and got bored. Now I work on other peoples windows units for them and create there custom iso's replace hard drives and ram but it is just a hobby. I like the speed of this distro and the flexibilty and also I don't know if anyone has noticed how clear intel 620 graphics are on here but they are better than other disro's. That matters alot to me. I cant afford a laptop with a graphics card so I just use this Lenovo Yoga 710 with intel 620 but it is really linux friendly. Anyways whats up guys and thanks for this nice system and I cant wait to see what up and coming.

| Hibernate not saving any session data |

Been using Linux Lite for a good few months now, and I love pretty much everything about it! The only problem I haven't been able to fix is hibernate issues. Anytime I got to hibernate, no session data is actually saved, I just boot back up as if I had fully shutdown the laptop.
I haven't found many other people sharing this problem, so I'm not sure if it just might be a hardware issue. I noticed that LL didn't make a swap partition when I first installed it, though from what I understand Ubuntu moved away from that towards swap files, so that might not be an issue.
