I thought I set my keyboard up as UK during the install however certain key presses give the wrong results. Pressing the @ key gives " and vice verse. There may be others that I haven't noticed. How can I reset to the UK keyboard driver?
Thanks.

Hi again did try and work this out for myself! But taking time :-[
Trying get firewall to startup I found the startup box and have added firewall program and have ticked box ticked but it doesn't load.
On old computer I think I did the same steps and it worked sometimes.
I would like firewall to load and I not have to put in password.
I'm I going to have to type code in Terminal to make this work?
See screenshot of startup popup box.
Thanks

| Resize and/or reposition terminal window |

Is there any way that I can permanently move (and preferably resize) the terminal window?
If I'm going to be doing a lot of terminal work then I can do this manually at the beginning of each session, but if I'm using Geany to compile C++ it opens a new terminal window every time I compile and run (and if you are a terrible programmer like me, that's a lot).
I've been through the settings menu but I can't see anything that gives me the desired result.

| Linux Lite 2.4 won't log out...Live CD or installed |

I'll start of by saying I've been using Linux Lite for a while so I'm quite familiar with it's comings and goings. When 2.4 came out I immediately ran the Lite Update in 2.2 on my htpc it upgraded with no issues. On an SSD it runs great. I have a smaller PC, Athlon 5350/ASrock MB, that i decided to install it on and therein lies my dilemma. I can boot into Linux Lite via USB stick or Dvd and loads up fine but I can't log out. I keep gettings this message
received error while trying to logout
did not receive a reply. possible causes include:the
remote application did not send a reply. the message
bus security policy blocked the reply. the reply
timeout expired or the network connection was
broken
after this, I tried every route possible to get it right.
3 different usb drives
5 different linux usb install apps (including the windiskimager recommended by the LL team)
1 burned dvd via dvd drive/usb
Xubuntu/LXLE/lubuntu all installed without issue
Actually installing Linux Lite...reboot and it still hangs and gives the error message
I tried the same with the old Linux Lite 2.2...usb or dvd...same error message
My HTPC it runs great, no issues, older phenom II and my laptop (Intel)...loads and runs fine...no errors
the error message usually takes about 2 or 3 minutes to pop up. If I just surf or run the apps on the Live dvd or USB drive, it runs fine. As soon as I click on the log out/off button...it hangs and the above mentioned issues happen. Is this due to the newer hardware (CPU/MB) ?
I think Linux Lite has the best balance between Lubuntu and Xubuntu. It's a shame I can't get it running on this little pc...any ideas?
