Failure to install Updates - coreyman - 03-04-2016 Hello Linux Lite Community: In the past few days, whenever I try to install updates, about halfway through the process it freezes and a window appears with a red "X" stating, "Couldn't fetch the package cache information lists". Depending on if you are using 32bit or 64bit Use the relevant command. Re: Failure to install Updates - coreyman - 03-05-2016 I did actually install Chromium instead of Chrome. I typed in the commands anyway and I came up with messages saying that no such files were present. The updates still fail. What is the output if you run the following in a terminal: Code: sudo apt-get update Is it the same for all three laptops? |
