Logon screen - doesn't accept Enter key - Sprintrdriver - 05-25-2017 Hi forum. This is just a minor thing, but so far (on other distros and windows too) I'm used to just press enter key after entering the password. But Linux Lite doesn't respond to Enter key. I have being looking into the Light Locker Settings menu, but could not find any setting for that particular issue. Is it possible to choose another variant of login screen in Linux Lite, or perhaps some tweak to make the Enter button to work? Thanks in advance Re: Logon screen - doesn't accept Enter key - Valtam - 05-26-2017 By default Linux Lite does acccept the enter key (Youtube reviews will demonstrate this). So there must be some other issue here. Are you on a laptop? Re: Logon screen - doesn't accept Enter key - Sprintrdriver - 05-30-2017 Thanks, it's an old Laptop type Toshiba Satelite: Code: System: Host: Tigern Kernel: 4.4.0-70-generic i686 (32 bit) However, I cannot (remember how to) reproduce no more. Since the laptop is still running to see if it's stable over time (as you can see of up time) I cannot remember if the issue was due to boot or if it was from when the computer was waked up from suspend. Re: Logon screen - doesn't accept Enter key - Valtam - 05-31-2017 Probably from Suspend. If you cold boot the computer and the Enter key is fine, then it's something else not not a general Enter key issue. You'll need to be precise and know exactly what triggers this issue ![]() |
