PIA Installation with Encrypted Home Directory - blmcevers - 06-03-2017 Hi, I am new to Linux Lite (and Linux). I have migrated from Windows OS and hope to never return again. I have a standard 64bit Linux Lite Installation on a Dell Lattitude E5520, with an encrypted Home Directory. I installed my PIA VPN client per the instructions here: https://helpdesk.privateinternetaccess.com/hc/en-us/articles/219438217-Installing-the-PIA-App-on-Linux The installation instructions allowed me to successfully install PIA, yet when I tried to connect, it wouldn't. I did a google search and found these instructions on how to install PIA with an Encrypted Home Directory: https://helpdesk.privateinternetaccess.com/hc/en-us/articles/219438217-Installing-the-PIA-App-on-Linux]https://helpdesk.privateinternetaccess.com/hc/en-us/articles/227831828-Installing-the-PIA-app-on-Linux-with-encrypted-home-directories]https://helpdesk.privateinternetaccess.com/hc/en-us/articles/219438217-Installing-the-PIA-App-on-Linux With the above instructions I was able to successfully connect to my PIA VPN Hope this helps someone, Cheers |
