Program stopped working after restart - alowe - 04-08-2018 I wanted a simple program to edit pictures so installed Pinta using Lite Software. After the install it ran just fine from Menu/Graphics/Pinta. After restarting it no longer runs from Menu/Graphics/Pinta. Did a search for "Pinta" from the root directory and found a file called Pinta.exe in /usr/lib/pinta/ But upon running this file it opens a program called Archive Manager. So, now I'm confused. Where has Pinta gone? Why is Pinta.exe running Archive Manager? And how do I get Pinta back? I haven't done anything to the files in the system or tried to be clever. Have only used Lite Software, Install/Remove Software and "sudo" in the Terminal for a few basic programs. None of these other cases were programs called Pinta or Archive Manager. |
