So, any pics/wallpapers I put in that folder, I can use? Do I have to do something special to the pics first? I just d/l'ed some from Scotts list I'd like to use. TIA Re: Linux Lite Wallpaper Museum - Scott(0) - 09-02-2014 Hi Monkeyman. I believe the default location for backgrounds is /usr/share/backgrounds/xfce/, of course you're free to put them anywhere you like. Take a look at this post: https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/index.php?topic=816.0 Quote:Do I have to do something special to the pics first? There's a post in the link above that covers this. Let me know how it goes. ~Scott Re: Linux Lite Wallpaper Museum - Monkeyman - 09-03-2014 That worked fine and was easy. I thought I read that the wallpaper had to come from the xfce folder. I guess not. The last time I tried Linux (Ubuntu 12.04), every time I'd load a wallpaper, most of the text (both in Ubuntu and the rest of my programs like Firefox) became corrupt. I'd have to reboot to get them right. I'd also get a bunch of random images (from my computer) that would replace the desktop wallpaper. Nobody could tell me why that happened. I guess we'll see if it happens in LL. |
