ISO Initial Boot 4.8 - DamFam - 03-30-2020 I downloaded and ISO USB prepared v 4.8. Following Grub menu choice, the next screen requires a USER and PASSWORD with an OPTION on top which is worthless. No instructions. I have spent 2 days searching for guidance with every word I can conjure, no results. How are we expected to boot and try or install Linux Lite if it requires user and password on booting the live ISO..?? Thank you. You can find a good deal on the following.. https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/release-announcements/linux-lite-4-8-final-released/ Live USB/DVD/VirtualBox/Vmware:
There is more on creating a LiveUSB in the above, another resource is the Manual (Live USB using Windows - scroll for other) https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/install.html#llusbwin If these dont work - reply back with a bit more on your process - i.e how your creating the LiveUSB, what is the current installed OS, BIOS/UEFI enabled etc.. |
