Get update errors nearly everytime I try to update - LarryB1607 - 05-11-2020
I do not believe that there are any extra kernels to remove. This fixed a previous problem I had, but the errors started again and I am up to several now. Here is the latest: Thanks for any help
Here is my disk allocation:

I made boot about 30 MB
When I click on File manager I get no drive size info

There's no need for a separate boot partition and 30mb won't even hold 1 kernel config properly.

I am running LLOS from an external HDD. When I started to experiment with Linux, it was recommended that I set up separate boot, home and root directories. I used a plan similar to the basic recommendations of well experienced people of which I am not one of.
It appears that gzip is not finding enough room to process the files being downloaded. If it is trying to use my boot sector to do this, my question is why?
What do I need to do in order to fix this issue?

As I said, your /boot partition is unnecessary and too small. Reinstall. There's no need for a separate boot or home partition. Whoever gave you that advice, has left you in this predicament. You can thank them later with a pie to the face. People mean well, it doesn't mean they are smart enough to give you flawless advice.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will just wait for version 5.0 final to come out. I have made several customization and if I need to start all over from scratch I might as well wait for the later version.
