First of all, anything run by root, leave alone. Just look at what is running by "username". At first glance I did not see anything extra running. Open up a terminal and execute
top
Look at the %cpu and %mem columns. Are there stuffs running? If everything is under 10%, then probably not. Leave top alone and run vimeo. Then look at top. Is %cpu and/or %mem loaded?
If not, then something else is messing things up (and I probably can't help you). If so, then something fishy is going on with vimeo.
