SOLVED Password Change via Lite User Manager Not Recognised
#1
Something strange: I changed my password in Lite User Manager to one incorporating $ * and = characters. When I tried to login again it was not recognised, but there had been a change of password. I checked Num Lock and I even typed the password in as a user name so that I could see it and then copied and pasted it into the password box of my user name, but it wasn't recognised.
I then followed the Help tip in Lite User Manager and entered the password in with the passwd command and it worked fine. So I'm figuring that there must be something unusual going on with Lite User Manager. Alpha passwords seem OK, though I did only use very short passwords for that.
I'm still on 3.4 at present and this is a single boot installation.
Not a pressing matter but I thought it worth raising. Smile
