I'm back, sorry. I now have another user to add and am using 3.6 but am still having the same problem with User Manager. I had actually forgotten the previous episode.
I've checked various things and have noticed that if I enter the password directly the password box accepts only the first 20 characters. I actually have 21. Pasting the password into the box makes no difference, so presumably User Manager is restricting the entry to the first 20 characters? Other authentication boxes have no such restriction so far as I can see.
I'd be grateful if you could try to replicate this and if so advise if it's realistic to have anything done about it?
I do of course realise that I could without harm restrict myself to 20 characters but if it is necessary a note to that effect in the Help Manual would be very useful.
Thanks
