Page spoofing is a hack that's been around for years and in reality servers in rogue states that are not governed by US law are the lasting offenders, and they can often get SSL certificates... so HTTPS is not a guarantee of security. The Debian user forum is HTTP. End Point security and secure socket encryption protect you from page spoofing or page redirecting when using viable enterprise systems. You can't protect yourself except by using viable enterprise sites i/e Amazon.
