can't install another language keyboard
#4

It successfully added Russian as an installed language. But when I went to try to add a keyboard for Russian, it says it's added as an input method in iBus preferences, but I can't get it to actually type in Russian. I've tried changing the settings in the language support box for input method (none, XIM, and iBus), checked the iBus settings (seem normal) and checked the keyboard settings (again, normal). Is there somewhere else I should look or something else I should try?

I guess you probably did but just in case, did you set Russian as the primary language or, did you set a key to change between languages? Again, you might have propably done that already but still ... I wonder ... sometimes we're so focus searching for the hardest way that we don't realize the easiest solution is in front of us.  Smile Also, have you posted your issue here https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/russian/ ? people there might have an answer.
Without each others help there ain't no hope for us Smile
