Take a look again. You missed something: it's 16 (sixteen) GB of RAM and a quadcore 8 thread CPU.
Besides, I have 8 years of daily work only on Linux so, I had some time to learn to make my machines go smooth.
I also saw your system so you're right, it works fine. I have also a Lenovo T400 a close config to yours, and I'm pleased with LL 5.0 on that too.
Maybe my CPU is a bit better than the AMD (Core2 Duo @2,53 GHz), but still, close.I hope you'll be happy with Linux Lite! (I am!
