Thanks for your reply Stevef. No problem with the boot - all working ok. It was just that update that came through yesterday. The os IS working perfectly. It reall y is a puzzle and today I've just updated normally and all ok. No errors. I think it may have righted itself but I'l get back if any further issues. Thank you again.
