We know there aren't official Xerox Linux drivers for the P265.
We could try the brlaser drivers mentioned in post 2, but it's got to be worth a try with Postscript as there appears to be a Xerox Generic PPD dated 2022 which is for Linux.
Check this link and if you are happy, download the zip file

Unzip it somewhere and then use the 'Choose file' option to select the xerox ppd file.
