helloo all, i'm from Indonesia.
Linux Lite is the operating system that first made me fall in love with linux, I used to try ubuntu, but I haven't fallen in love yet, but with linux lite which has a look like Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, it made me fall in love even making an ebook. If you are pleased, please read it at the following web address.
![[Image: s9rYDwAAQBAJ?fife=w200-h300]](https://books.google.com/books/content/images/frontcover/s9rYDwAAQBAJ?fife=w200-h300)
https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Aryanto_Linux_Lite_Windows_Operating_Systems_2020?id=s9rYDwAAQBAJ
thank you, hopefully Linux Lite becomes an operating system that can help users in completing their work.
share myexperiences when installing on a Travelmate 6291 ram 2GB laptop getting a problem at the first restart:
I recommend that when installing the keyboard used in English (US). After the install is complete, the keyboard sometimes likes to be weird, the FN key activates by itself, this is because when booting at the start of Linux Lite it automatically activates the numlock function. To overcome this, when windows linux lite is normal, turn off the numlock function. This experience happened to travelmate 6291 laptop (shutting down by pressing the FN + F11 key.

Turn CAPSLOCK off with shift?

Hey, I have a quick question.
Over the regrettable years of using Windows, I grew accustomed to turning caps lock off by using shift - that way accidental clicks on it didn't matter, because I began sentences with a capital letter (therefore, using shift), turning caps off.
I don't seem to be able to find such a functionality in linux. Is there a way to enable it somehow?
I took a look around the keyboard settings, but couldn't find anything, is there a config file or terminal command perhaps for it, or even a third party application that enables this functionality?

Wifi wpa 2 personal password

I am attempting to get linux to connect to my network, which is a wpa2 personal setup. If I click on the tray netwrok icon, it asks for a password, which is wpa2, and not personal, so the password it requires is too long. I put in a bad password, let it fail, then edit the connection.
I have turned off auto connect, set security to wpa2 personal, put in the correct pass word and saved it,
Try to reconnect and it fails, no error that I saw, just says disconnected.
How do I force it to connect in wpa2 personal? I am running 3.8 lite 32 bit on an older t30 think pad. I have had numerous other distros installed and had it work fine, but havent used linux in quite a few years so I am a bit rusty. The adapter is a cisco pcmcia card that has always worked, bu that was with a WEP setup that I no longer have.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Lite tweaks - Can't hide hibernate/suspend buttons

Hey guys!
Basically, as the title says, I don't seem to be able to hide the hibernate and suspend buttons from Lite tweaks tool. It launches, suspiciously enough, doesn't ask for admin password, and says it needs to reboot to apply changes. Denying just sends me back to its menu, letting it restart doesn't seem to do anything, the buttons are still there.
I'm using Linux Lite 4.8 x64, booting from my USB drive. It's not the default boot option, if it matters at all.
Any ideas are welcome! Perhaps there is another way to do this, perhaps via terminal or editing a config file?

I get the same error every time I update. When I go back to retry, it says my system is up to date. Maybe so, but I cannot help but think that these all get put into a log and then not tried again. Any way to be sure I am up to date and stop the error from happening. Thanks
