In Wi-Fi connection the IPv4 address is not assigned. |

This happened in the past with the previous release and successively with the last one . Turning off the pc in "suspend" and then waking up makes networking working again. I tried to assign fixed IP: in "connection information" IPv4 appears configured but the browser didn't retrieve web pages from the internet. I was forced to reinstall the last release 6.6 and initially it worked fine but since some days the problem proposed again.
Booting from the live cd, all works properly almost all the time. Maybe it is an hardware fault but i dont know how to detect it (perhaps whith a diagnostic tool).

I've got a problem with my Lenovo G500. Internal microphone doesn't work (but recognizable), the same happens when I connect external microphones.
Any ideas how to solve it?
I've checked the Volume control, the microphone is recognized. Here is the screenshot https://imgur.com/a/WUB22fp
My specs are:
OS: Linux Lite 6.6 x86_64
Host: 20236 Lenovo G500
Kernel: 5.15.0-91-generic
CPU: Intel i3-3110M (4) @ 2.400GHz
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon HD 8570A/8570M

Hello there, I'm a new user of LL 5.6, and I'm currently in the process of switching from Lubuntu to Linux Lite for our company's PC image. So far, Linux Lite has been performing exceptionally well on our older hardware. However, I've encountered some difficulties when creating a master image to use on other hardware, and I'm unsure where to seek assistance for my inquiries. If you could kindly direct me to the appropriate forum or platform to post my questions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Customised folder Modified Date to also show Time |

Hi. Is it possible to customised desktop folders to show both Modified Date and Time? Same would apply to Create Time.
Thanks
PS 1: I searched the web and this website and found nothing other than terminal commands to show/process by date and time
PS 2: Using LL 6.6 on an old PC booting from SSD with Clover - it flies!

Hello there,
I'm pretty new to Linuxlite. A friend installed this to my pc and I have been using it without problems. I'm not sure what i pressed at some point and how to undo it but my file manager does not display the File/View/edit etc tabs on the top plus there no side panel anymore. I'm going to setting for the file manager but I'm not managing to return these features on.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I'm running off a USB stick made with Rufus. I don't know if that's relevant.

Wireshark detected ongoin traffic on Linux lite clean installation, phonin home" |

Theres some outgoin connection in a clean install of linux lite, i installed wireshark to analyze the traffic, and theres some ips that automatically and frequently linux lite connects(talking about every 20 seconds or so), as a University server, and a cannonical server(phoning home to ubuntu?, i though you guys remove all the snap mainly to remove any tellemetry data, but theres some connections still in it), and a national server.
Why is that? and how can i remove those connections?, debian, and arch(when removin the default arch website connection), doesnt have any "telemetry" or connections in its clean default installation.
Also i tried another install and this time remove the google chrome default app, and even then still left same ip connections...
Some of those ips:
- 186.118.171.88 cronos.unad.edu.co apparently this a time clock synchronization project for linux servers, i guess is for online time synchronizity for the apps?
- 91.189.91.157 (canonical in London servers)
Really Appreciate any answer, and if theres some way i can make it very vanilla without any outgoing connections as debian or arch are, thanks.
Edited: Read about the ntp time indepent setting project, cool stuff, thats one check out of the box, every OS has to make some calls to syncrnoze the internal clock with real time to function its internet properly. there still the canonical connection one, any answer appreciate it, cheers.
