Cant connect to WIFI in Lite 6.6 |

I accidentally removed the panel from my OS Linux lite 6.6, I think I pressed "remove configuration" or something like that. After that, I restarted the computer and everything went back to normal, except the wifi.
After I turned on the computer, the Internet didn't come back, how do I fix this?
I can't connect to wifi at all and I got no response when using Linux lite 6.6 AI

Hi folks ! Hope 2023 is ending well for each and everyone of you.
Here's my problem : I have dabbled for some years now with the same Bluetooth USB dongle and headset on various computers, fittes with different distros. Never had a problem.
Was using it under LL on my HP-Compaq mini laptop until it conked out last march. Haven't find the time to get the spare parts, nor the time to fix it yet, so I installed LL on a Samsung mini laptop.
Here comes my problem, can get the whole bluetooth contraption to work, and I can't figure out why. I've checked both dongle and headset on different computers, they work fine. :banghead
Does anyone have any idea to solve my predicament ?
Btw, about my computer :

Linux Lite on DistroSea |

I got in contact with the very friendly and responsive guy running DistroSea.
Now Linux Lite can be checked out without even creating an USB stick.
Considering the target audience of Linux Lite this might lower the threshold for some to do the first step of converting from Windows to Linux Lite. And for people spreading the word/helping others it's another tool in the toolbox - just sending the link:

16GB isn't large enough to install Linux Lite 6.6 |

Hi I'm hoping to install Linux Lite on my old Chromebook. I'm using Bodhi Linux at the moment. I thought that the 16GB SSD would be big enough as the specs say that it only needs 8GB. It worked OK from the live session on USB but when I tried to install I got a message pop up saying that 15.8GB isn't big enough and that it needs 16.9GB. Any suggestions please.

I have an old Dell laptop with Linux Lite 6.6. I would like to use Logitech Dinovo Edge wireless keyboard (no dongle) with it but it is not found in pairing. I can find the keyboard with other devices and I can pair other devices with my laptop. So basic bluetooth pairing seems to work.

Trouble installing LL 6.6 on 64 bit laptop |

So I recall experiencing this same issue when I started using LL 5.0. On some laptops all went fine and others the OS installed, but then after turning it off or rebooting I would get the screen saying “Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard drive. Hard disc - 30F”
I KNOW the OS IS on the HD and the HD is working fine. When I go to re-install it asks if I want to install it beside LL 6.6 which is already on the HD or erase and install LL 6.6.
With this particular laptop (HP Elitebook RAM 16 GB) I believe I may have had similar issues loading LL 5.0 a couple years ago and I can’t recall if I installed the OS on a different laptop then stuck it into this one or if I managed to get it loaded and working…anyway I didn’t make notes at the time!
I believe it may have something to do with UEFI and settings, but not being very computer literate I’m unsure of the exact steps (truly spelled out precisely!) for loading LL 6.6 on a 64 bit UEFI laptop. My ISO USB of LL 6.6 is working (have successfully loaded the OS on two other laptops) and unless I’m wrong I believe there is only one LL 6.6 OS that is UEFI and Legacy compatible
- correct me if I’m wrong and direct me to where I get the UEFI one.
I am familiar with needing to disable secure boot and fast boot and I also enable legacy boot mode.
I also feel the issue in my post about two laptops reverting to the “Boot Device not found…” screen after sitting unused for a period of time MAY be related and NOT a CMOS battery issue.
I have taken screen shots of what the BIOS looks like on this particular HP laptop and what I have chosen in case that may be helpful in sorting me out…
In the meantime I may see if a working LL 6.6 HD in another laptop will work in this one or if I’ll get the same message…

Driver Finder App |

Good evening,
I am guessing even if you guys help me find a driver finder application, I will still need to return my Cb31005. There is muchc, I find frustrating about this device. Firstly, the instructions are written in 2 pt font, which is my being modest, but I need a magnifying glass to read them. Secondly, after using a magnifier, I found out the driver installation disc was not included. Plus, the instructions claim I need to install something to get the dvd burner to work. On top of all this, after trying to burn onto 3 different discs, I kept hearing the spinning sound. You know the one when there is a scratch on your cd, and rather than trying to skip that section it just keeps bumping against the brick wall.
To make matters even more difficult, I did a search for Cb31005 drivers Linux, and I failed miserably to find anything. Like I said earlier, I am guessing even with a driver finder, I would still need to return the drive. I am also aware that Lite includes "Install Drivers". Unfortunately, this just does a search of graphics drivers. Unless, I am using it incorrectly.
You guys have any suggestions about how to find this sort of software?
Thank you & Happy Holidays.
