| Whisker Menu (Move an Icon?) |

I haven't had much trouble installing applications or adding them to the desktop, etc. However today I installed the gnome-disk-utility, and it put a "Disks" icon under Accessories, I wanted to move it under System, and the best I could do was create a new item and disable the old one, no idea how to relocate an icon.
I also wasn't able to find where Whisker stores it's items (I'm assuming they are physical files somewhere on the disk). I know after installing gnome-disk-utility it put an entry in /usr/share/applications/ but I dont know how that relates to the Whisker menu.
Can anyone help me out a little.

Running updated LL2.4
Running latest Google Chrome.
I wanted to test my Internet connection.
One test was latency so went to this site: http://www.pingtest.net/
It shows the following message, any ideas..??
Pingtest.net requires Java for packet loss testing, but it does not appear to be installed in your browser.
The assistance link just takes you to the regular ORACLE site.
I have installed Java from Lite Software Centre, still the same message.
Any ideas..??
I should add,
never experinced issues on any other site, so it's not really a biggy, I can always just use "ping" in a terminal.
Thanks

| How do I make desktop icons smaller |

I'm running LL 2.4 on an old Dell Dimension 4550 with a Radeon 9550 video card. Seems my only resolution will have to be 1024x768 which makes the desktop icons rather large. Is there a way to shrink them down?

Ok I know....I Know. K3b pulls in dependencies from all over the place.
But I still like to use it for burning and ripping.
Had no problem with 2.2 but 2.4 keeps throwing up errors with sudo apt-get install K3b as below:
ben@ben-Calistoga-ICH7M-Chipset:~$ sudo apt-get install K3b
[sudo] password for ben:

I'm using LL 2.4. For some reason the little clock in the lower right corner keeps jumping forward in time. I set the correct time which displays for a short while then jumps. Anyone know a solution for this?

So I recently made the decision to expand my horizons and find a Linux distro that would be an alternative to the horror that is Windows 8/10.
Through out my life I've primarily been a Windows user, currently using Windows 7. However I'm not a 100% newbie, as I've used Unix/Linux before, and my job in is software development (though when it comes to Linux, at this point I'm more "aware" and "informed", than I am "experienced").
Long story short though, after previewing several live discs I narrowed it down to Linux Lite 2.4 and promptly installed it, I've been using it for about a week now, and so far I've been very happy with it. Everything is laid out well and intuitive, and even installing custom software/hardware has been a breeze.
I'm currently using this setup as a retro game development workstation, using SDL, CodeLite, Plastic SCM, Aseprite, SunVox, and sfxr, and things couldn't be smoother.
