The forums here are really helpful, that's why I stayed 
Keeping up with computer "speech" is a full time job, for most people, not worth the effort in my opinion as new acronyms pop up everyday.
A joke I like on the matter, I don't remember where from, is : "Standards are wonderful, there are so many of them!"
It's like cycling uphill, with no chain, LOL!
Your English seems quite fine, but there is a French forum if you need help... assuming your other language is French. There are other language forums too, Dutch, German, etc.
