Hello all
I'd find LL very interesting, and I'd download it both versions allready (32 and 64bits). I plan to install it (or try it) on diferents systems and I had see that ISOs are small enoght to fit in one dvd. So I want to ask to someone, if there is a way to prepare a DVD with both installations?
Thank you.

Merry Christmas, Orthodox Christians! Мир Божији, Христос се роди!
We in Serbia don't usually say "Merry Christmas". The traditional Serbian Christmas Greeting is "Мир Божији, Христос се роди", meaning "God's peace, Christ is born".
The person who's been greet answers with "Ваистину се роди", meaning "He trully is born".

Need Suggestions for the Help Manual

Hi Everyone,
We're looking for ways to improve the Help Manual and would really appreciate your input. Consider this a kind of free-for-all general brainstorming session. At this point, any ideas that you think will make the manual better/(more useful) are welcome. Only real caveat is for you to try limiting suggestions to things that would likely benefit a fair number of people. (In other words, try to steer clear of topics that would only be of interest to 1 in 100 people.)
Any particular topics that you wish were in the manual but are not right now?
Anything in it already that you think could use further/better explanation?
If you think back to when you first started using Linux (any distro), what are some of the things that were most confusing and that you wish you had good information on from the beginning?
If you have used the help manual to try finding an answer to something, was it easy to find what you were looking for? Or was it a bit confusing figuring out exactly where to look?
Any suggestions for improving the overall layout of the manual, possibly making it easier to find what you are looking for when using it?
Once we've got a good amount of feedback, we'll go from there and possibly put up a poll for you cast votes for the suggestions you think are most important to start with adding to the manual.
Thanks.

Problem with cron

I have Linuxlite 2.2 installed on a Dell 3000 desktop with 2GB of RAM. When I went to the terminal and typed crontab -e, I used nano to setup my cronjob:
Code: */10 * * * * /usr/bin/arecord -t wav -f cd -d 44 /home/randy/Music/test.wav
This works fine except that there is no audio. When I run this from the terminal, everything works fine.
Code: /usr/bin/arecord -t wav -f cd -d 44 /home/randy/Music/test.wav
Any ideas why it is not working from Cron? What can I try out and post back?
Thanks!!!

Fairly new to Linux.
Just installed LL on an Acer Aspire One D270 and now have an altered keyboard mapping with 5, 7, 9 ( inactive as well as the Fn keys.
Looking for a fix for this. Anyone have a fully working installation on their Aspire One? what settings did you use?
Thanking you in advance.

No sound on HDMI with Intel NUC

Hello,
I have just installed Linux Lite on my new Intel NUC DE3815TYKHE, and I have no sound on HDMI. My system sound report says:
===========================================================
Sound Information
===========================================================
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC283 Analog [ALC283 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
I found over Internet that, for another type of computer and another Linux distribution, someone says to change in etc/default/grub the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash radeon.audio=1" and then reboot, but I think that I should put something different than radeon.
Thanks a lot
