| My solution for Windscribe NOT playing well with default LL DNS |

Newb here. LL Live USb
Had the "resolving host" delay from the very start. Suddenly, Windscribe would take FOREVER to connect or not connect.
Worked with WS tech support for over a week. Lightbulb moment
1. Googled how to change dns.
2. Changed to google.
3. Windscribe would not connect.
4. Removed/re-install Windscribe.
5 Connects faster than it ever has and no "resolving host" issues.
Your mileage may vary....

| 4.0 new installed size |

I recently installed Electrum on LL 4.0 for a client who wanted a cold storage device to link to his alt-currency account. The installation and setup went smoothly with no errors, and the python files even updated afterwards smoothly using LL updates and nothing has broken yet when running LL updates normally, so it seems that Electrum can indeed run on LL now. I've used it for many years in Debian and it is my preferred wallet and what I usually recommend anyway. My question is (I couldn't find any info in the release notes): what is the average installed file system weight of a new LL OS on a modern Intel machine. With Electrum and its encryption elements the file sytem in LL is around 25gig. I never looked at the size of the LL file system before installing Electrum, and my own LL is in qemu. His system is on a 1T drive so it doesn't really matter but I would like to know for future reference.

Hello,
I am a newbie, not familiar with code, or even terminal commands.
I tried to update the Linuxlite 3.4 64 bit by following the instructions in the help manual.
I would really appreciate any help. Thank you so much in advance.This is what I entered in the terminal: Code: radel-jpn@radeljpn-HP-Pavilion-dm4-Notebook-PC:~$ sudo apt-get update
[sudo] password for radel-jpn: [code]
This is the output:

I'm trying to learn Python3 from the book Learn Python 3 the Hard Way and find it hard going especially when the code keeps on displaying an error. Take for instance, exercise 20.
Code: # ex20: Functions and Files
from sys import argv
script, input_file = argv
def print_all(f): print(f.read())
def rewind(f): f.seek(0)
def print_a_line(line_count, f): print(line_count, f.readline())
current_file = open(input_file)
print("First let's print the whole file:\n")
print_all(current_file)
print("Now let's rewind, kind of like a tape.")
rewind(current_file)
print("Let's print three lines:")
current_line = 1 print_a_line(current_line, current_file)
current_line = current_line + 1 print_a_line(current_line, current_file)
current_line = current_line + 1 print_a_line(current_line, current_file)
I keep getting the following error
Code: colin@my_new_LinuxLite4.0:~$ python3 ~/python_exp/ex20.pyTraceback (most recent call last): File "/home/colin/python_exp/ex20.py", line 7, in <module> script, input_file = argvValueError: not enough vales to unpack (expected 2, got 1)colin@my_new_LinuxLite4.0:~$
I've come across this error on a previous exercise but sadly misplaced my notes on how to remedy the error. Can someone help me please.

Dear all - can anyone recommend a cloud backup provider / software that runs in Linux? I've been using Arq together with Amazon Web Services for my Macbook and OneDrive for my Windows machine. Thanks in advance for your help!
